Surviving Alcatraz Tips and Tricks for Black Ops 4’s New Alcatraz Blackout Map – Mod Breakdown

The iconic Alcatraz prison is your next destination in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout game mode.  Alcatraz is a close quarter Blackout experience, unlike anything we have seen in Call of Duty. The intense close quarter’s map is Quads with 40 maximum players a match.

Deploy into close-quarters via portals combat on Alcatraz island. Players have up to 5 redeployments per player before the final circle. One member of the squad must remain alive for each redeployment or else that game.

Wall Buys – Zombie fans will be happy to know that Wall Buy weapons will be on the map for them to pick up FREE of charge, So keep an eye out for their blue glow. Note – Wall Buys disappear from that location after pickup.

Sensor Dart – If find a Sensor Dart, Use it! The sensor last 2 minutes, in a close combat fight this can play in your favor. pay attention to the color of your enemy’s pings. The small dark red ping means that an enemy is near you. This information can be the key to you and your team’s survival.

Perks – The Brawler and Outlander Perks can come in handy on the island. You’ll find yourself being forced outside of the collapse zone or end up right next to an enemy, and these perks will come in clutch.

Outlander Perk

Uses: 2 – Duration: 180 seconds

If you’re struggling to make it to the circle in time, Outlander is perfect for these situations. the perk reduces damage from the circle but it also increases your speed and lasts for a total of two minutes.

Brawler Perk

Uses: 1 – Duration: 240 seconds

The Brawler Perk increases the damage deal when meleeing and will also give you an additional 50 HP per successful melee attack. This perk would be good for when you are low on health and attacking zombies. Not only would it allow you to gain some fast HP, But you would also do so without drawing any attention to your location by using a weapon

Choose close-quarter weapons for combat

Alcatraz can get intense, the equipment, weapons, and perks you pick need to be the right combo for your best chance of making it out alive. The Cordite submachine gun has great mobility and a high-capacity magazine pair that with Cluster Grenades you’ll be clearing out rooms. Skulker or Dead Silence allows you to move quickly and quietly among the living and the dead.

Best Locations to Find Weapons

Cell House – This location is a popular choice so expect company. The risk is high, go for zombie kills for a chance to gain better loot.

Model Industries – Since players then to land near the borders of maps you may find more enemies in this location. The plus of landing here is the many floors, which means loot.

The Docks – There are buildings surrounding the docks, this means loot, get a weapon. Once you’re finished you can use the tram rail to gain a high ground advantage faster.

Zombie Spawn Locations – Alcatraz

Here we have confirmed areas which Zombies spawn on Alcatraz you can see the three locations above on the Blackout map. You will know Zombies are spawning when the blue light displays.

High Zombie Population In The Area

Zombies may spawn in high volume in some areas. If you have enemies in the perimeter you also have to consider the zombies after them. You can easily run out of ammo and become swarmed by the living and the dead. Watch for enemies and choose your shots.

Final collapse

For the final circle collapse, get ready for chaos, depending on the end location you’ll face three threats. Zombies, your enemy’s team and high circle damage. Try to stay within the circle and have teammates alive to cover you.
